"And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have. A different plant grows from each kind of seed."
1 Corinthians 15:37-38 NLT
“Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal. John 12:24 - 25 MSG
WHAT IS DE-CARNALIZATION?
Decarnalization implies separation from our human ancestry, the Adamic nature ruined by the fall and sin. It is a separation from flesh and blood (2 Cor 5:16-18 AMP, NKJV; Matt 12: 47-50). De-carnalization is a separation from dust to be hewn out of the Rock - Christ (1 Cor 10:4 NKJV); we are being engrafted into the family of God through our obedience to His will.
Fundamentally, the concept of de-carnalization is a journey of return to our original origin; our place in Christ born out of God's thought of His eternal expression on the manifest earth - "Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth." Genesis 1:26 AMP.
The text above states God's intent without any ambiguity; there is a divine nature that God has willed the earth to. That man is the one who has become in Christ. Christ could command the fig tree to dry up and the raging sea to be calm because of His identity, He was the expression of the god-man with the dominion mandate; He had authority!
The de-carnalized man/woman is a product of God's meditative desires, born in Christ to bring to manifestation in the physical, a dimension of God (Jer 1:5, Eph 2:10 AMP, TPT); His dominion over all creatures. As Christians, we are re-created in Christ for His pre-ordained purpose - the Gen 1:26 purpose. The scripture talks about His foreknowledge of us and our establishment in Christ before the earth's foundations (Rom. 8:30).
A SEPARATION FROM REASON & KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE SENSES

Again, de-carnalization is a separation from the flesh (reason and sense knowledge), every form of awareness brought about by the fall; consciousness of sin and all its works. Blood speaks to our human ancestry, our natural human genealogy (John 1:12-13); as many that received Him, He gave them the authority to become His sons not by the birthing through flesh but by His regenerative Spirit. A place where we are no longer guided by vain family practices nor committed to blood relationships that do not align with God's standards of truth. The process of becoming separates us from flesh and establishes us in the spirit as the body of Christ - the ecclesia. It is solely the work of the Spirit (Rom. 8). When we enter that place, we begin to access and manifest the dimensions of God on earth.
BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT
The human body, as prepared by God, is meant to be an operational vehicle for man on earth, not the ruler of man. The human soul that is the seat of all human desires and the body (flesh) that is gratified by those desires is meant to be under the rulership of the spirit of the redeemed man when we become born again in Christ. Man (you & I) was sent to administrate the earth based on his direct relationship with God, but like Adam, he has fallen in love with the garden life (the world & its pleasures, carnal desires and ambitions not aligned with God's purpose and plans for our lives; vain existence, human definitions of success and pursuits of significance.
These in themselves are not bad, but the flesh is what it is; it always "looks good to the eyes" and appeals to the soul, even when it does not align with the communicated will of God!, leading to unending lust, sin and derailment from God's purpose for man. Eve looked at the fruit, and it "was desirable to have" but in having it, she lost fellowship with her Maker. What are you looking at? What have you held on to as your life's purpose that does not align with His set purpose for you? What ambition drives you that is tearing your family apart, keeping you away from the children God has given you to raise for HIm? What is that significance you pursue so dearly at the expense of your relationship with God and the leadership He has called you to provide to your family?
When existence and significance become our ultimate pursuit, sin and flesh rule, and death is imminent. The fame and purpose presented by the devil to Christ were good but not fit for His purpose! The unregenerate man is ruled by his flesh. Flesh sees nothing wrong in ambition because, in truth, ambition is not evil in itself; it is the root and the source of ambition that corrupts.
Victory for the born-again child of God becomes dependent on our ability to empower our spirit to rise again to its place of rulership so that we may no longer gratify the cravings of our flesh. Rom 8:6.
In summary, God's plan is rulership and dominion over the earth:
His instrument is the spirit of Man encased in the flesh (body) and blood (You and I).
Man fell and became soul, flesh and blood.
God sends Christ to redeem man and restore him. The work of salvation is to transition man from a soul-driven being to a spirit-driven being. Rom 8:6
As we were in God before time began, so we shall be at the end when time collapses. Eph 4:13; the process of becoming takes us into maturity by the standards exemplified by Christ
De-carnalization is allowing the Holy Spirit to bring death to the workings of flesh in our lives by yielding to Him.
God has prepared a body for us in Christ, not to gratify the longings of the flesh but to do His will by the leading of His Spirit. We have been sent not just to "do His will here" but also to bring a dimension of God to our world. We are sent here to bring kingdom manifestation to the earthly realm. Receiving His spirit is the first step; allowing the Spirit to transform us is the next and allowing ourselves to be led by the Spirit is God's utmost outcome.
