"For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)" 2 Cor. 10:4- 5 AMPC
The exercise of the soulish expressions begins in the mind; a thought given enough reflective focus becomes empowered to become a flow of beliefs, a set of ideas that frame and shape our dispositions and potential for action. If given strength over time, it becomes a "mindset" - a set mind, a mind formed to perceive and respond based on the ideas that founded it. Prov. 4:23 NLT
Decarnalization entails an active watchfulness of our thought processes to capture and expunge from our spirit, all filtering thoughts from the soulish realm that try to de-sensitize our spirit man. The more thoughts from the soul that permeates our spirit, the weaker the spirit man becomes. Col 3:2-11 Gal 5:16-26. Again, when we dwell more in the soulish realm, we give too much attention to the "body" - how we look, feel, and perceive through our senses when the body is just a casing, an earthen casing.
The mind is the most powerful tool positioned as a connector between our spirit, soul, and body. The mind of the natural man (from the first Adam) is first and foremost flesh. However, it has the potential to be transformed into becoming spiritual. The Bible talks about being transformed by the renewal of our minds. Rom 12:2 AMPC

Rather than focus on the casing, we must focus on the environment that surrounds the casing - the mind. The mind is the environment that surrounds and shapes our perceptions. It is the eyes of the body through which we perceive. We can perceive accurately when we allow our minds to be renewed by His revelatory word. We must focus less on the casing, for it is ephemeral. Let our focus be on the reality of who we are - a spiritual dimension of God sent by God to bring manifestation to His will. This is why communion with the Father is non-negotiable; His will cannot find expression if it is not known. His will can not be known if it is not revealed. His will cannot be revealed if it is not sought. We can only seek and find it in the place of communion.
In the place of communion, being consistently joined to Him, engrafted to His Spirit, and immersed in Him, we receive the anointing (2 Tim 2:1 TPT, AMP; John 15:5-6 AMP, TPT, NLT ) that transforms our flesh into the new creature. It is in the place of consistent communion that we can "become"!
When we become that express image of God as exemplified by Christ, we step into God's will to be fruitful, replenish, and dominate the earth.
ACTION POINTS

Just as we are wired as parents to nurture, guide and support our children through their developmental phases, so is God our Father, Who calls you and me at this time, committed to making us. Will you let HIm? 2 Cor 6:2 NLT
De-carnalization and the mastery of the soul-man is a work of faith. The rulership and guidance of the spirit into realms not accessible by the physical mind, the body and its senses. This is God's desire for His children, the renewal of our minds from one generation to the next, from your household to mine. Shalom!
